I got into Virginia Tech and UVA as a transfer student for political science.
I have absolutely no desire to stay into political science, I want to make the jump to Engineering.
Now my question is: WHICH SCHOOL WILL HAVE THE EASIER JUMP FROM POLITICAL SCIENCE TO ENGINEERING
I’ve heard Tech’s Engineering school is pretty much closed and hard to switch into, but what of UVA’s?
By another post you have taken Calc 2 twice, getting a C both times, and as of a month ago you were barely holding on to a C in linear algebra.
UVa will look at your grades for Calc II & III, as well as Physics & Chem (I + Lab) and Intro to Programming (all of which they expect you to have completed before applying for transfer) to see a “a history of success in a technical curriculum”.
