@potatomawnster My transcript says it was prepared at 12:02, which means it has only been completed for 15 minutes before I went on and check it lol

Congrats on your admissions! Still waiting for UWS’s letter, but I already committed to attend UWT since I got rejected from Foster school of business. Still, it would mean a lot to me if I get acceptance from UWS. Good luck 2 who’s still waiting~~

YEEEEEEEAAAAHHHH!!! Transcript loaded! @potatomawnster mine only has high school stuff loaded, so I think we’re in the same boat! and @afern83 mine was updated at 15:10 and I checked it at 15:13. I got lucky! I’m so happy–now just need that letter!

Here’s a bit about me:

Pre-social. Something 3.65 transfer GPA. Will get AA in 2 weeks. From Seattle Central. ~100 credits transferring. All prereqs for major completed.

I wrote about why I moved around so much in my college career (I did my first year at a CA university), why UW was a good fit for me, why I loved psychology.

Goodluck to everyone else!

@potatomawnster CONGRATS!!! That’s awesome, and your stats look great, there was no way you wouldn’t get accepted!!

My time is also fixed at 16:58 9 June. Take it from another Asian-american, I was actually concerned because Asian is the second largest demographic UW has after Caucasian, so I was totally not relying on the female minority card to do me any favors this time around lol. No one knows what truly turns the tide of decision!! It seems the low-income first generation demo is a great thing to highlight too, I have heard that UW is all about “changing lives” and so forth. Have you tried to access any “student only” sections yet? For example, I tried to apply for family housing and it said “student not found”, which of course made me die a little, but I bet it has something to do with not having paid the new student enrollment fee or confirmation of enrollment yet. I hope.

@afern83 , high five to all us single mamas (and papas)! That I know is a big deal because children are the second largest hindrance to post-secondary education (taken from the UW site, somewhere with all the family program stuff) and they want to do some good there as well.

Hang in there all of you still waiting, if it makes you feel better, despite having my mystical unofficial, I am still stressing (irrationally) over the mailbox JUST IN CASE so I am not too terribly disappointed if the worst were to happen! Best support group ever for all of us irrational worriers lol I love this thread.

I have been looking at this thread for months! I decided today to sign up and congratulate all of those who have been accepted! I can’t wait any longer! My transcript hasn’t loaded yet, and I am running to the mailbox everyday to see if their is a letter waiting for me. I am hopeful it will come soon!

OMG just neurotically checked my unoffical and the time stamp changed from 1658 9 Jun to 0730 10 Jun!!!

WHAT DOES IT MEAN?!?! >.<

Isnt’t it disgusting that I am tracking it this closely lol? Thank god I’m not alone here, I am losing my mind. Also it’s finals week, so I am already quite unstable haha.

@nornorbalina, the transcript will update periodically, usually once per day at the time you first viewed it that day, in my experience. So if you view it again at 1am, it might change to 0100 11 Jun. As far as I’m aware, it means nothing, just that your transcript is getting ‘refreshed’.

Also, congratulations to everyone!

For everyone who has had their transcript loaded, does it leave out your birth year on your birthday? For example, my transcript marks my birthday as “10/03/XX”.

@nornorbalina, I tried to access the other student only sections and was pretty much denied access to everything. Just give it some time.

@candela2, thanks.

@potatomawnster, you’re welcome As for the ‘XX’ on my birthday, mine has been like that ever since the change in my transcript that happened a couple of days before I got my letter. My transcript did show my birth year when it was just a non-matriculated transcript. I suspect that it’s just a new quirk in the UW database.

I just got my unofficial to load as well I’m so freaking happy, almost to a point of being sick to my stomach hahaha. So I am curious what does everyone else’s transcript show?
Mine shows:
Prepared for, date prepared, time prepared, student number, birth date, class, college, major, it doesn’t show anything for status, cumulative credit summary, or any grades whatsoever.
I am just wondering because I had some classes from a Kentucky college (which I did terrible in) and when I took classes over in Washington at SCCC, NSCC, SSCC none of those credits transferred, so I had to retake some of the classes, which makes me wonder if it just needs time to load or if because I have some classes that UW doesn’t know how to transfer, that this would cause none of my classes to load. Thanks everyone, good luck to those who got accepted, and good luck to those that are still waiting.

@Candela2 that totally makes sense. It didn’t even occur to me that I checked it this morning! You are awesome and thanks for the feedback

@potatomawnster my birth year is also XX. And that’s comforting to know, keep us all updated for that letter/package! If the trends seen with the other batches stay consistent, we should be seeing something either this week or next, right?

I had an exciting moment with a package today to find out it was only a huge acceptance packet from PLU Not at all to disparage PLU, they are a legitimately great institution! I just already knew I was accepted because they called me last week.

Hi Everyone,
I just wanted to let you guys know my unofficial transcript loaded too! Really excited! Good luck to everyone else.

My Stats:
I didn’t graduate High School. did a high school completion through my CC
3.57 GPA
90+ credits from a local CC
All of my pre-reqs for my major are done as soon as this quarter is over, and I have to apply to it in the Fall.

I hope my stats give some people some hope. I am an older student who really struggled focusing in high school. In my personal statement I explained the adversity I’ve experienced and how I’ve matured as a student.

Good luck, everyone!

@jenny4399, your transfer credits need to be evaluated by UW before they will show up on your unofficial transcript. They will not even start the process of doing that until you submit the $300 fee to reserve your spot (you’ll get a letter about that in a week or so), and it does take them a long time to evaluate everyone’s credits. I’ve known since April that I was accepted, but none of my transfer credits have loaded yet either.

Based on information I read while signing up for the Advising and Orientation session (which you do after you accept your spot at UW), I believe that the majority of credits will be evaluated by the time the A&O sessions begin (End of July), but that some people’s may not be completed even by then.

Basically, don’t worry about it for now. Hope this helps :)

@jenny4399 My transcript shows similar data to yours, but my standing says Junior and Pre-Science under Major. Also, it only shows “high school” credits (the “have/deficient” thing for each field) which I think is weird because like @alisham87 I didn’t graduate high school either- I’m a GED kinda student ;)! I posted my stats earlier; I have 3 DTAs from a Washington State CC, thus, the junior standing. I didn’t catch your stats Jenny, are you comfortable sharing those?

I am wondering if these are referring to college transfer credits unless someone else has a better speculation?

Thanks @Candela2 it does help out a lot, I believe I remember reading something earlier about there being something online (for instance for international transfers that might not get their info packet for quite some time) where we can begin doing some of the stuff, instead of having to wait to get the packets. I am away from home and quite busy dealing with family matters and would like to get started on some of the stuff as early as possibly. I don’t know when I would be able to get back home to check my mail and unfortunately I have no one that would be able to send it to where I currently am. I figured you @Candela2 would know since it seems like you have already done most of the stuff. Thanks.

@Candela2 Too true lol, they are for sure going to want our monies before anything else. Excellent observation

The amount of transfer credits they take is partially why I wanted the UW so badly over the others.

Sure I have no problem sharing my stats @nornorbalina I know that my college GPA from NSCC, SCCC, and SSCC is 3.47 with 160 credits having been completed there as well as a Associate in Science. Unfortunately I have no idea what my grades were at the Kentucky College since they won’t send out official/unofficial transcripts to students, you can’t check your unofficial transcript online, your grades were only available when you were going there, and they even make it a pain in the butt to send the grades to colleges. My unofficial transcript at UW also shows Junior, Arts and Sciences, and Pre-Science. It doesn’t show anything for my highschool grades, and I am hoping to get a degree in Biology.

@jenny4399, if I recall correctly, I had to send in my $300 check with a little slip of paper that was mailed to me in the large white envelope (this usually arrives a day or so after the gold one). But, I’m sure all they need is your student number and some other information to be able to process you, so you could call UW Admissions and ask them if it’s possible for you to send in your fee earlier.

The response you get will depend on the staff…some might be reluctant to let you do this since presumably you don’t have your gold envelope yet, while others might say ‘sure’. But if you inform them of your situation, they will probably be understanding, and let you know what information to include with your check so you can send it off ASAP. From there, it will probably take them 2-3 days to process the check, and after that you will be able to register for your A&O session.

Thanks @Candela2 I knew you would be helpful having went through this process already.
