<p>To those who are still wondering why are the others talking about âgetting accepted into departmentsâ :
If the major youâre applying to is an open major, you need not a separate application. Means if youâre admitted, you will be placed into that major.</p>
<p>If the major youâre applying to is a competitive major, then you would have the choice of selecting a second major. Just in case the first one didnât work out. </p>
<p>These are the competitive majors that are listed in the application: Business, Computer Science, Environmental Health, Informatics, Bioengineering, Nursing, Bioresource Science and Engineering,
Social Welfare, and ANY major in the College of Built Environments, College of Engineering, or School of Medicine.</p>

<p>Glad to hear about all the acceptances; it seems like almost all of us made it. For your A&O registration, I would personally recommend picking the earliest time possible as that is when you will have the chance to sign up for classesâautumn transfers are usually the last ones to pick classes so there usually isnât much left to choose from.</p>
<p>My transcript had said UWT for months but now itâs changed to the college of arts & sciences. Iâm pretty sure I just got into UW Seattle.</p>
<p>Unfortunately mine still hasnât changed. It still says non matriculated due to the class I am taking this summer. I really hope isnât a bad sign! :(.</p>

<p>@gilmorej, for some reason the non matriculated transcript wonât say anything other than ânon-matriculatedâ for a long timeâŠperhaps until orientation when we sign up for Fall classes, or until Fall quarter begins. I took classes at UW as a non-matric in 2013, I got my gold acceptance letter at the end of April, and my Unofficial Transcript still says ânon-matriculatedâ. BUT around the time I got my letter, my Unofficial Transcript changed to list my high school math level and foreign language completion. So look out for that. :)</p>
<p>Wow, got my letter today saying UW Seattle declined me, this actually came as a complete shock. UW was my backup school (maybe not the best wording, it is a very good school) in case I wasnt admitted to the top tier schools I applied to, I know people have said students who attend out of state schools are tougher to get in but I figured my 3.8+ GPA with over 80 credits and well documented success in the business field was more than enough(and so did my advisor whoâs a UW grad). Now I dont really know what to do, Im still waitlisted at Vanderbilt and Yale, and got maximum scholarship offers at Gonzaga and WSU(which is a full ride at WSU, only applied because its close to home). </p>

<p>Betting the next round of letters will arrive tomorrow or wednesday, based on the time frame between transcripts loading and letters getting sent out from the last batch.</p>

<p>What were the options for payment method of the $300? With WWU it was online, and I was able to use a credit card. Does UW do the same thing? </p>
<p>Welp, I just submitted my application for the engineering department. I still donât know if I have been accepted yet. No news is better than bad news right guys!!?? :-S It is going to be really lame when I get rejected after spending a couple days working on the engineering application essays. </p>
<p>I just got my letter!!! I am accepted!!! My stats! will have 90 transfer credits by the end of Summer quarter. 3.1 GPA at time of application!!! Got straight Aâs Spring quarter now 3.2 GPA. I AM SO HAPPY!!! </p>
