@vivianshmibbian Hi! I’m from California too and still waiting to hear back! I don’t know what others who are waiting plan on doing but I am applying for housing at my current school just in case. It really stinks that admission letters come out so late!

@vivianshmibbian I’m also from California. I haven’t heard back either, but I applied to housing at UCD already just in case. You can always get a refund, though I think it may be a partial refund. Just keep checking every day.

@sailormoonlight and @xoxoyazyxoxo thanks! It’s nice to know others are in the same boat. I’ll start applying for housing and keep you guys updated.

For those of you who got accepted, how long did it take you guys to receive the actual letter??

@Uw20166 Transcript showed up on a Friday (27th), and I got my letter the following Wednesday (2nd). It seems that letters for in-state students show up about 3-4 business days after your transcript loads.

Hey guys. I reside in the Seattle area and went to college in California last year. I just applied to go back to UW this autumn. I applied last year and got in as a freshman and turned them down (yeah some of you must think I’m crazy). Anyway, I’m hoping for the best because I really like the school a lot now. I still haven’t heard back from them and my unofficial transcript hasn’t loaded yet. Should I worry that I haven’t received anything in the mail yet? Also when do you guys think the next set of admission letters will be sent?

@cisenn No. Still waiting. Have you heard back yet?

International transfer with 3.82 accepted yesterday (got an email) though I’ve already given up waiting for them and have enrolled somewhere else. Congrats everyone!

@justin3co my packet came today. The due date is 7/11, I think the pattern is that the next batch will come around then.

My packet came today as well. I’m wondering: Has anyone successfully had the enrollment fee deferred? I’m in the process of moving and don’t have enough money to pay it right (if it wasn’t due so soon I would be able to…) Anyone know what the basis is for approving a deferall?

@relacircle, I think most people just pay the fee upfront. After all, deferring it only adds it to your tuition instead; might as well get rid of the inconvenience early on. I think the most obvious reason is the inability to pay for it at the moment, which is a completely valid reason. Concerning the deadline though, I don’t know if they have to receive your decision to defer or if the deferral has to be approved before the deadline for it to be on-time.

On the form itself, it says

“Important: Paying or requesting a deferral of the NSEOF is the only way to confirm your enrollment at the Seattle
campus of the UW. Enrolling or participating in any other UW program — for example, on-campus housing, the Honors Program, financial aid, ROTC — does not confirm your enrollment at this campus.”

A friend of mine requested a deferral, and got it confirmed very quickly, about 3-4 days after she sent in he enrollment, and it processed in about 2 days. She was able to sign up for her A&O right after it processed. This is actually an identical time frame to what I experienced (my parents bailed me out of the fee as a grad present ) when I payed the fee.

Has anyone else not heard… anything? No rejection no acceptance. no change on the page? just wondering if I am the only one. and do we know if they are rejecting as they accept?

@cklclouds I have seen a number of rejections in proportion the the acceptances, it seems this pattern reflects the rejections are sent out and evaluated in the same batches as the acceptances!

awesome!! thank you (: I was just worried they were saving them till the end.

@cklclouds I’m still waiting as well - haven’t heard anything or seen any changes either. Trying to stay positive! GL to you.

@cklclouds and @gilmorej I haven’t heard anything yet either /: are you guys in state?

@vivianshmibbian @cklclouds I’m in state. Transferring from a local cc. You?

@gilmorej I’m out of state. I really thought they’d be finished sending letters to those in state by now. But I guess now they’re doing transfers?

idk! i am in state… did running start in high school so i have almost a 2 year degree. but then went to schooling in Connecticut for this last year and cant afford to go back, so I am a in-state/out of state. when did you guys send your application in. cause i did it at the last minute on the day it was due. maybe there going in order of submission?
