UW Foster School of Business vs UMICH Econ LSA (No Ross)

I’m in the same boat as you right now!

I was directly admitted to Foster and I would only have to pay $5k in total cost of attendance (received lots of scholarships and I’m in-state) and I’m still waiting for my UMich Ross decision after being admitted into LSA. I will pursue graduate school for sure, so my heart is 95% set on UW Foster. But I was wondering if UMich Ross is still a good investment if I am admitted (but also that would mean I have to pay OOS tuition which is like $40-50k? And that would mean I would have to take out so many loans :()…

I’m interested in pursuing a dual degree (economics and environmental sustainability/ science), however UW Foster doesn’t offer an economics degree (so I would have to choose between Finance or Marketing or Information Systems or the general business administration degree= ig the ones I’m “interested” in)… So, I’m not too keen on the alternative majors that UW Foster offers.

I definitely plan on working in Wall Street or travel from country to country as an international economist (most likely centered around countries with sustainability policies, ex. New Zealand).

I’m not sure if I should just go to UW Foster and just pursue their business administration major so I can get my mba in graduate school?
