Our Miele is 17 years old. I snagged a second Miele at a thrift store for a ridiculously low price. One has the power brush (good for wall to wall carpet areas) and the other does not (good for the wood floors). Biased Miele fan here. The other bonus is we have more than one shop in the area that will clean them or repair them.
