did anyone get an email saying if i wanted an offer of admission they would give?

only reason im asking is bc it said “if you
plan to enroll in the fall” but i just want to see FA offer

On the waitlisted webinar that is how they said it happens. You receive an email asking if you want to be offered admission and you say yes and they give you the offer with a deadline to respond. They also indicated your FA offer would be within a thousand dollars of the extended net price calculator on their website so if you were accurate with that you should basically already know your FA offer before you are pulled from the waitlist, they confirmed there is no merit offered to those admitted from the waitlist. Congrats to you!

Yes, on the webinar they made a comment with regard to timing that indicated some had/have already gone out (normally have 72hrs to accept a waitlist offer but said 'for those of you whom received your offer already you actually have until the original RD deadline so a little longer than usual). They said the WLs operate independently based on the 4 schools, with SOM being the most intricate because they offer based on instrument too so that WL is constantly in flux (and jmdb posted they were waitlisted for Blair, have not seen evidence of movement of the other schools yet).

Waitlisted, got the email saying, “Thank you for claiming a spot on our waitlist

Please log in to your MyAppVU portal, and answer the question on the “Application” tab: “Would you like to remain on Vanderbilt’s waitlist?” Please respond as quickly as possible, and no later than Sunday, April 28 at midnight Central Time
”. Turned in my LOCI and another letter of reccomendation a week ago and also my TOK Exhibition. I guess we will see lol. Any ideas when they’re releasing the second round of WL acceptances?

Scores on the Vandy article are those of admitted, not enrolled students, which are typically lower. Plus with test optional, they represent a portion of the class. For more accurate scores, see Vandy’s common data set, section C:

Middle 50% SAT: 1500 - 1560
Middle 50% ACT; 34 - 35
Middle 50% ACT Match: 32 - 35

25% reported SAT. 25% reported ACT. 50% of enrolled students did not submit scores.

My friend got of the Vanderbilt waitlist today

My son got off waitlist yesterday :tada::tada::tada: but no money offered. He has already accepted a full ride elsewhere so he will not be accepting his spot :sob::sob: Honestly Vanderbilt was only an option if he would have gotten one of their merit scholarships, which he didn’t. Unfortunately wasn’t meant to be.
