Hello! Anyone has trouble with getting to the second choice school option? My D is trying to do the following:

First Choice School: School of Engineering
Second Choice School: College of Arts and Science

… but the option for selecting Second Choice School won’t show up.

The only way to have second choice school show up is to select “Blair School of Music” as first choice school.

Thanks for the pointers in advance!

I’m a parent reading online (from unofficial sources) that Vanderbilt Admissions is telling school counselors to tell the kids to not submit their SAT scores if less than 1530. Anyone hear this as well?

I read same post-not sure how accurate, but my student is not submitting theirs

anyone know if the school requests 1st Q grades for ED applicants?’ I saw a blog from 2007 when it was required, but now seems optional?

My student is not reporting 1stQ grades. It is optional. Probably doesnt matter much for ED1.

I’ve read in past years that it supposedly did not mean anything.

Student applying RD but looking to meet the merit deadline. As far as we can tell, she needs to apply a few days before in order to get access to the portal and then upload a pdf of her scholarship essays? 1580 SAT, 4.0, NMSF, lots of impact. Decided to only submit essays for Cornelius and Chancellors. Just interviewed with Yale. The waiting is tough. Her HS automatically submits Q1 grades.

How long after app submission did the portal log in info come? Applying RD but need access to the portal for scholarship prior to Dec 1 .
