Daughter got an email that she was accepted off the waitlist this at around 3:00 this afternoon. She’s over the moon. Undecided Arts and Sciences (likely econ) from the NY metro area.
Yes I plan to commit and u have one day to accept and three days to make a deposit.

Probably won’t be committing, but I did a LOCI and extra LOR.
Just got off the waitlist too!! Does anyone else know how to view our financial aid package? It says it’s available after we say yes to receiving an offer of admission, but I can’t find mine. Anyone else having this problem? Or am I just looking in the wrong places lol

Has anyone on the waitlist for the school of engineering heard? Just wondering if waitlist acceptances for the different schools are sent out at the same time or different times.
Just kidding, my portal just updated with the information!! If anyone on the waitlist is worried about their generosity w/ financial aid as a result of losing revenue, be not afraid because they definitely pulled through ahaha
Daughter sent a LOCI and her school counselor called the regional AO and sent an additional letter.
I am also interested if anyone heard that applied to College of Engineering.

Do they accept people off the waitlist based on majors? Seems like everyone so far that has gotten off is planning to major in economics or engineering…
congrats to everyone who got in! so happy for all of you. I, unfortunately, was not lucky today :’( hoping i’ll have better luck in the future but I am losing hope.
Did anyone get off the waitlist from Peabody?
My brother got off the waitlist earlier today (2 PM CST). He applied to CAS, with political science as his intended major. He sent in an LOCI mid-April to his admissions counselor, wrote a handwritten poem re-expressing his commitment to Vanderbilt as his top choice (he sent this in via mail and sent a picture of it via email, again to his admissions counselor), asked his school counselor to send his admissions counselor an updated grade report, and asked one of his teachers to send in an additional letter of recommendation. I think that this continuous and diverse show of interest really must have helped his case! Good luck to all still hoping for an answer.
