Does anyone think the WL starts moving by tomorrow? Will commit elsewhere tomorrow night but would rather not lose a deposit if DC is lucky enough to get off the WL!

Didn’t start until May 4 last year as far as I could tell and May 2-3 the years before.
Do waitlist decisions come out in between transfer decisons?
how much ppl got off the waitlist last year? does Vandy give good financial for low income or families with -1500 SAI?

Student Aid Index - its the new EFC and this change in the FAFSA is the cause of all of these delays.
Vandy fills about 10% of their class with waitlisted applicants (so roughly 160 will come off) and they meet 100% of need with grant based aid for US Citizens and eligible non-citizens. They are, however, not need blind during the waitlist round (as they are with ED and RD) so it will be more difficult to come off their waitlist if you need full aid unless you are filling a specific institutional need (specific instrument, demographic, geography, etc).
hopefully today is the day things start moving - hearing of a lot of other schools starting to move but DC is waiting on Vandy as top choice…

What is Vandy’s official commitment date? I thought it was May 1, but wonder if the date changed for FAFSA extensions?
