Also got offered a spot today. Engineering applicant.
Has anyone happened to receive offers off of the waitlist who applied to the College of Arts and Sciences?
Yes - on reddit. I am curious if anyone is from the Northeast that has received offers?
Do you think they are released regionally?
Got off the waitlist yesterday. Peabody HOD.
did everyone get an email asking you if you wished to stay on the waitlist?
yes, my kid did. he said the email stated they wouldnāt be going to the waitlist until may 7, which clearly isnāt the case based on posts here or on reddit. or maybe that will be the second round?
my email said may 7th was the latest you could reply so like the deadline, maybe our emails were different
Also received, likely the same wording as yours, āPlease respond as quickly as possible, and no later than Tuesday, May 7 at midnight Eastern Time, so that we are aware of your continued interest in attending Vanderbilt.ā
yeah, sounds like my kid misinterpreted what the deadline meant
Yes. My son received an offer off the waitlist on 5/2. Heās Arts and Sciences from the Northeast
congrats! could you tell me if you got financial aid?
Thank you! No, didnāt need financial aid.
But I did hear of someone getting off who did get aid
Family member got off of waitlist 05/02 for A&S with finical aid offered and has accepted spot in freshman class; from the mid west.
Thanks for those details, its good to know becausethis was probably a spot my D24 would have been competing for! Congrats!
thanks!
thanks x answering!
Same!!
Same for my kid
On the webinar they said you get 72 hours to respond to your offer (assuming 3 business days), so that would be EOD on 5/7 for those who received offers on 5/2. I suspect that is why they sent the email asking for waitlist update by EOD on 5/7, because the next wave of offers, if even needed, would likely go out on 5/8 or 5/9 then.
