Kid got off waitlist 4 pm, May 2. From Texas, Arts & Sciences. Accepted immediately. For what its worth, another kid in our high school was also offered a spot on Thursday and declined it - think a math major. Good luck everyone and don’t be afraid to show Vandy love if you mean it. This was a community effort and a true wish to attend above anywhere else. Anchor down and chin up.

any word on WL acceptances? was that the only round a week ago?
Not as far as I know. I was expecting today given that the last round had until 5/6 and those left were asked to reconfirm by 5/7. I would have thought today … maybe tomorrow? Or late evening tonight? Anyone have insights?

man i just wanna get into peabody but they admit by major and im waitlisted for HOD which is prob rlly popular 
. also feel like i messed up my loci bc i only talked abt vandy in general and not about Peabody or my major specifics…waiting is the worst help
Did it seem there was not a lot of waitlist action this week? I thought there would be more movement based on how the previous weeks played out.

I wonder if the class is mostly full since they did not send any more emails asking to confirm ongoing interest in staying on the waitlist?
I don’t mean to get anyone’s hopes up, but I’m at least wondering if the unexpected waitlist delays we experienced while anticipating a second wave was due to the fact that Vanderbilt graduation (and all of its many events) was Thursday, Friday, and this weekend?
I could be wrong, but I am trying to stay hopeful that it’s not over yet!

You’re correct, it happened last year too. First wave was in the beginning of May and second one was around May 20th

They said every two weeks until done- I think today is two weeks from last release so maybe something this evening.
