Congrats to all! I have a child at Vassar who loves it - happy to answer any questions I can (or ask her if I can’t).

It is impossible to know what they discussed in committee at schools like this, but I would reinforce that Vassar is demonstrably a harder admit for women. 21.6% acceptance rate for men in the 2023/24 CDS, 15.9% for women.

My D24 was accepted! Congrats to everyone, this is such a crazy process. Her FA checklist was there all of today until the decision was posted so I wouldn’t read too much into portal astrology for any future applicants

Congrats, @ALC76! Do you want to share stats?

Congratulations to everyone who got the news they were hoping for today. Has anyone tried to register for one of the Venture to Vassar admitted students days yet? When we try to click on the event it says “Venture to Vassar is for admitted students only.” That definitely made us double-check the decision letter!

Where would one register? ED admits haven’t had any updates since acceptances went out and they mentioned 4/14 and 4/19 with “info to follow” in the spring.

S24 accepted- what a surprise after waitlists at Bates and Tulane and rejection at Colby. Was expecting a waitlist at best.

accepted! FA is pretty bad though, but it’s okay because I have other better offers.

fin aid also sucks for me too – i wonder why their formula is so different from other schools?

Same for us. It must be a glitch. We double checked the acceptance as well
