The past two years decisions have been released on the third Friday in January. What that means for this year? Hopefully so.
They usually announce it on Instagram the day before so maybe that means it wonât be tomorrow.
Well they have said by the 20th and Monday is a holiday⊠they certainly wouldnât release decisions over the weekend so Friday seems to be the most logical especially since theyâve done Fridays for the past few years
Looking at IG for ED1, they notified on Friday Nov 22nd for a Monday the 25th notification. My guess we will hear today for Monday notice.
I agree, I think regardless admissions will post about the date today
Does anyone know the ED1 admit rate from this fall? And any historical context on what % of EA applicants get deferred to be compared with the RD applications?
Looks like any remaining EA notifications coming out today at 4pm. Saw on Instagram.
We are a low chance, but good to find out if by some wild chance it happens.
Good luck!!!
Remaining? I donât think there have been any EA decisions so far. Only ED1
Yep - 4:00 release today! Good luck to all applicants!
Folks, is there a way to know the decision without clicking on the decision link in the portal?
D25 wont be back until later this evening, and I cant spoil her surprise. At the same time, itâs super hard to wait. Call me crazy.
my daughter got in to the college of engineering
Ahhh, you are probably correct! Not following it closely as a very small chance for us. Not even pestering my son about it.
Good luck!!
Itâs a No for us, but we knew that going in At least we can celebrate with the UMass acceptance today! Congratulations to all that get in!!
Congratulations on UMass! Itâs a great school.
Weâd end up in the same situation later today.
Not able to check the status until kiddo returns from school after 3 hours.
At least for UMass I know already, thanks to the great portal astrology pundits! lol
My daughter was deferred to RD. We are pleasantly surprised with this since we considered Villanova to be one of the more competitive schools she applied to. She has a 3.8 gpa, tons of leadership and community involvement and applied test optional. Anyone familiar with odds of acceptance once deferred to RD? Thank you and congrats to those accepted!
Daughter deferred also.
So far she got into FSU (with money) and deferred from BC and Villanova.
She is an incredibly strong student. This is so emotionally stressful! I know she will land where she is meant to land. butâŠâŠ wish this was easier!
Wait
FSU is best looking school. So thereâs that.
Great idea, never occurred to me, thanks!
Deferred, whatâs up with the whole switch to ed2 offer?
