Viral Recipes

Viral recipes abound these days. TikTok, YouTube, you name it, video has expanded the interest in cooking.

Mentioned the above so that no body focuses on “I don’t do TikTok/social media, etc - you can find these recipes in video form at best but sometimes in print too.

What viral recipe have you tried? Was it a hit or miss?

Tonight I made the viral tortilla smash burger. They were quick and pretty darn tasty. The toppings made it for me. Sautéed onions, tomato, lettuce, spicy pickles, cheddar and some special sauce.

Meat is thinned out and not too much so it cooks fast in a skillet. Flip when the tortilla starts to get brown at the edges and then add cheese for another minute. Top with toppings, fold like a taco and eat!

I got a butter board a few years ago as a Christmas gift from my stepdaughter. Honestly, the idea of it doesn’t appeal to me. However, the board is really nice, and I’ve used it often as a charcuterie board. I can create great combinations, because it’s quite large.

Oh, I like that feta eggs idea. Have some feta in the freezer, may need to try that recipe.
