So much outrage over monuments that glorify our hideous past. I read an interesting article from Tanehisi Coates, which delves into our history. He weighed in on the controversy surrounding the proposed HBO series from the game of thrones creators. The series is based on premise that the South won the civil war.

A car just plowed into a group of counter protesters (those protesting the Nazis).
No word of injuries or anything yet.
I saw a video of the vile things they are chanting. A bunch of hateful and disgusting individuals.
Very disturbing. I honestly don’t know what to DO about this. Do we protest? Try to rally along with ADL and BLM?
Videos of the car hitting people are now on Twitter. It was intentional. There is absolutely no way it was an accident.

Just heard this from David Duke, who is at the protest…“That’s why we voted for Trump. This is a turning point. We will take our country back.”

I’m embarrassed for our country.
And earlier this week we were worried about going to war with another country. We didn’t have to look any further than our own backyard.
