Yes, certainly confusing for where to find the info! My daughter received $4k/year (“VT Scholars”) - we’re thrilled. Coupled with Honors, this pushes VT to the top of the podium. Can’t wait to visit next month.

I think all scholarship offers are out, I read something saying that in the details of my child’s financial aid offer (just loans).
my OOS child was accepted for engineering with similiar stats as your child. Did not get honors or merit either.

Thank you for the reference. I attended the virtual financial aid info session awhile back and wasn’t expecting much but it’s good to know that’s the norm. Thank you again.
My S26 did not get a dime except for the federal loans! We expected that, though, before he applied. We are in-state.

So where do you find it?
First, log in to your student’s VT portal. Choose the “Financial Aid” tab at the top right of the page. Click the white button “View Financial Aid Notification.” Click the maroon button “View Your Financial Aid.” At the top right, you need to use the drop down button that says “Aid Year” to select “2026-2027.” Then click “offer” from the choices in the band below that drop down. You should then see the various pieces of financial aid, including whether anything is listed in “Grants and Scholarships”.
Has anyone received an admitted student mailing (hoping for some cute Hokie stickers, etc.)? It’s been a while…
