My son got in ED in December to another school so he withdrew his VT app by emailing admissions. The only college of his that had an actual “withdraw” button was University of Richmond.

DD24 (admitted in December) just saw a note in her applicant portal that wasn’t there before, something to the effect that you’re invited to join honors college & more info will come from honors college. She hasn’t received any info or emails about it. Anyone else seeing this?
I saw a similar comment on Reddit about an hour ago… (they had posted it about 5 hours ago)
I have the same behavior but I was not invited. Did not apply though.
Perhaps VT will notify honors college invitations with today’s admissions decision?
They are not joking with the time! I thought for sure decisions would be up a few minutes early

Honestly I think they like to do it just after 5 as sometimes kids may need their parents for support if the wrong decision comes down.

D24 was also waitlisted. We’re surprised since all indications were that it was a “Safety” for her.
S24 accepted, but not invited to honors college: 4.0uw/4.57w, 1330 SAT, great ECs & many AP courses.
