Last year the December notifications came out the Thursday before Christmas. Hopefully they follow suit this year.

Does the portal say anything about application status? Donāt see anything on the portal that shows what the status is. Is that normal? Only see āchecklistā

This was the first time I saw that as well. Under one of the drop downs it had a vt.edu email assigned to him. Iām REALLY grasping at straws here!!

It was a verification when logging in. The number seems to be related to your application number. Typically the actual vt.edu is part of your first name and last name. I am sure itās for some internal system setup for all applications.

No, there are not 2 portals but recently they must have added the Slate by Technolutions, Inc interface when you log in. Under that interface there are drop down menus. Once you click to agree, that goes away and the regular portal shows up.

Does anyone see application status? Usually see āunder reviewā or āapplication complete ā type of status in other portals but donāt see anything like that. Is that how the VA tech portal is?
All you should see is all documents received with green checkmarks.

Does anyone know if VT will release Early Action notifications before Feb ? That seems really late
Last year they did in batches of 25% in December and January then remaining in February. It is very late for Early Action but no clue what they will do this year. They have been silent.

Question: is there a limit on how many students they accept from NoVA? Child was told by a classmate that they only accept 10% and the majority of that 10% is engineering. As a poli sci major, sheās pretty freaked out.
