has anyone gotten off the Waitlist for pamplin
Has anyone gotten off for College of Science?
We are in-state and havenāt heard of anyone getting off the waitlist and we know a rather large group of waitlisted kids.
If you scroll up, someone got off in-state
Maybe is should have been more specific: Besides postings College Confidential, I have not heard of anyone getting of the waitlist.
At least 2 kids at my child school got off the waitlist in the last 2 weeks. Weāre in NoVa.
Do you know what major specifically? We are also NOVA
From the senior decisions page one is chemical engineering and one is business.
Was there a specific business major on the decisions page or do you only know if itās within the Pamplin department?
Business marketing according to his mom.
Some people on reddit are saying that VT has met their enrollment goals, but they just havenāt sent out a notification that itās closed.
And they asked a counselor?*
I saw the same thing too.
Is Pamplin any good?
My daughter just graduated with a double degree from Pamplin and had a great experience. She had no trouble getting advising or getting classes she needed. She got an internship her junior year which led to a full-time offer. She starts in July. Iāve said on CC before that I believe one of Pamplin (and VTās) strengths is not having an overabundance of gen ed requirements, which allows Pamplin students to have more room in their schedules for double majors/degrees/minors and still graduate in 4 years.
I learned at graduation that Pamplin is the second largest program at VT after engineering.
Why isnāt VT closing their waitlist already. Let people move on.
Hey sealbrown, is it possible for me to talk to you?
I was going through this website and found your interest goals align really well with mine (prospective aerospace student w/ astronautical centric study prospects, applying to unis like CU boulder, purdue, UIUC, UMD, UWisconsin, penn state, etc.) and would like to talk to you personally for any advice!
Thanks so much
