Visiting UC

I’m trying to plan a visit, but I’m a little confused on doing it. UC is the biggest school I’ve looked at so far and all the colleges have me confused. Is the campus really spread out or is it possible to visit more than one of the colleges in one day? Because I want to check out the DAAP, and also the Humanities (Psych, English, History, Econ, etc)…

Serapheyes, read the thread, "Overview of our visit to University of cincinnati DAAP, " which is found at the top of the Cincinnati thread.

Yes, Cincinnati is a big school; however, it isn’t so huge as not to be able to see most things. Most of the buildings surround Main Street;thus, most buildings are very accessible.

You really need to check out the new fitness center as well. It is an extraordinary facility, chuck full of interesting swimming pools and equipment.

Compared to other schools it’s size, UC is very compact. You can walk from one end of the campus to the other in minutes.

I want to second Taxguy’s recommendation of visiting the fitness center. It is great. Try to eat in the dining hall in the fitness center, I thought that the food was very good, fresh with great variety.

You can get a really good look at the size/scale of the campus using Google Earth

excellent, that makes me feel so comforted since its from taxguy  i can’t wait for my visit…
