I’m currently a freshman/rising sophomore, and I was thinking about taking ROP Visual Imagery next year to fulfill my f requirement for the UCs. However, I don’t think I can take both semesters during my sophomore year, since there simply isn’t enough room for it during the fall. So I’m planning to take it during the spring only, and take another semester of it during the fall of my junior year. Is this allowed? B/c I heard that you need a year of a single vpa course to fulfill the requirement.
And for those of you that are taking/have taken it, is it a hard class? Because I’m taking 2 honors courses next year and possibly 1 AP, (very very veryyy weak compared to most people on CC, I know >.<) and I don’t want to overload myself.
And since it’s an ROP class, would it look better than other regular vpa classes? I know it’s not as impressive as AP Art History or whatever, but I’m interested in photography and I heard it was a fun class. (And don’t worry, I’m not going to drop it if it doesn’t look any more impressive than any random art class )
Thank you!
