<p>Would winning $50 from the Virtual Stock Exchange competition held at my school by the DECA club be considered a good EC? And would it be a good EC to say that I play on the VSE often? I plan on being a business major and working in the stock market.</p>

Yes its an Ec and it bodes in your favor that its an EC that deals with your future career aspirations. It’s like those people who “shadow” a doctor as volunteering/internship and plan to go to med school…hopefully that wasn’t too bad of a comparison :)</p>
