I honestly think you can reach your goals attending SMU Cox. It’s a well regarded business school. Do well there, and then go from there!

OP looks like every poster has suggested you don’t go into debt and attend SMU. It appears the tribe has spoken😀.
If anyone sees an exception, sorry I missed it, but I didn’t see anyone recommending unaffordable options.

my God, go to SMU! In this scenario no other choice makes sense. It’s an incredible opportunity to attend a great business program and graduate debt free! Add to that a fun campus and city and lots of study abroad opportunities and other enrichment. You do not need to do undergraduate in the mid Atlantic in order to settle there are go to law school there. I graduated from a small CA liberal arts school, moved to DC after graduation and went on to go to Yale for graduate school.
