As title states. I’m currently on the waitlist for a bunch of classes I need (#6 for one) and was wondering how waitlist movement is for UVA.

A great amount of movement will occur. Most first years can get into the larger lecture classes they want.
If your schedule as stands allows it, go to the class that you want to get into- if the professor has the power to let you in (NOT gonna happen in the Spanish department), they will appreciate the gesture. Bigger classes like psych or microecon may even tell you to just stop by office hours for approval.
