Waitlist success stories

wait, manders- your friend got off the yale waitlist?

No, Notre Dame hasn’t announced either way yet, jaknd

Yup, ruchir.

Thanks keddy for the info

A friend of mine got into Reed.

parthshah27, yes I wrote a letter expressing my undying devotion and intent to attend Princeton as well as why I would be a good fit for them. I did not send any follow up grades but I did send two additional recomendation letters. If you want to call, I would recommend you call yourself because you are the one they are interested in, not your parents. Other than that lots of praying.
Best of Luck~

adanpry, you got into P? nice, thats what i did for tufts, and i have not heard anything yet.

There is a rumor floating around the Brown Board that Brown may be 60 students over enrolled…

uggh this looks bad for Dartmouth, which accepted a higher percentage and is a smaller school. :-</p>

any news from Georgetown, I’ve been waiting since EA in November. I dont think I can it anymore

Oh man mcmatt723 that must be the worst :frowning: I feel for ya

Ohhh I really really want a call from Princeton! Any internationals heard anything yet?

Amherst, Pomona, Penn, or UChicago?

Congratulations to the student who was taken off Caltech’s waitlist. I am also waiting on them…

UChicago probably won’t come for a little while it looks like.

I’m still waiting on Cornell :(

anyone here from boston college?

is reed really using its waitlist?

Hopefully, Brown is not over enrolled. I am on the waitlist.

Anyone hear about amherst, oberlin, reeed?

has anybody heard from boston university/ or know somebody who has gotten in off the waitlist?

Boston University’s gone to the waitlist. Another friend was admitted.

hopefully there will be one more open spot, since i am currently enrolled at bu and am hoping for one of my waitlist schools

Chris Munoz from Rice admissions on “On Point” interview today, says Rice is probably not going to the waitlist (and also that they actually may be a bit over-enrolled, and the yield is higher than expected.)
Edit: sorry, just saw that this was posted higher up…
