bartlet4america, how many people do you know so far that have gotten off the waitlist?

S/he definitely got in off of Reed. I obviously don’t have any idea to what EXTENT they’ll be using theirs, but they have taken at least one person.

Two. One got Miami, one got BU.

My friend got in off of the CMU “priority waitlist!” XD

about my friend on facebook who got off harvard’s waitlist…

he’s joined the harvard '12 network and everything (and you need a harvard email for that). I’m pretty sure he’s not fibbing about being waitlisted in the first place (1. who would do that? lol and 2. he was extremely active in the Penn '12 group and very excited about going to penn…until he found out he was off harvard’s waitlist)

I’m thinking his case was an isolated event though. perhaps he did something extraordinary recently and harvard just couldn’t refuse? after all, he DID get the call very close to the may 1 deadline… or maybe he just has really good connections with harvard’s adcom haha

oh ok…anybody else definately let me know if you get off the waiting list at BU (or know somebody who has)…im anxiously awaiting!

Hi,

thanks adanpry… wow congrats to everyone who got off the waitlist!

so no news of any internationals getting of P-ton’s waitlist yet?

maybe it’ll take a while for them to figure out the numbers since international mail takes a long time n may 1st was the postmark deadline… that’s what i want to believe haha

any chance that dartmouth and williams are using their waitlists this yr? =(

Ah we are in the same predicament admitted1230! Praying for Pton (fingers crossed)

^Yes yes me too

Are you int’l too sup?

haha i hope we can all see each other in the fall =)

Is the only reason that Yale was added to the list because of post #457 by manders21390? Has Yale’s waitlist activity been confirmed by Yale? This seems more like another isolated special incidence like the Harvard thing… unless of course Yale has confirmed. I think the Yale entry on the list deserves a side-note like the Harvard entry.
