I went over to the SDSU forum. Not a soul is/was active. Ahh, I guess that’s what you get from the party school, just kidding. So jealous of my friend! She got in UCD from ELC and she didn’t even notice its existence.

yeah TAG is what’s keeping my head up. and i agree, we all got sad/frustrated together but it seems like we all have a back-up plan, even if we don’t really like it.

Yeah people with ELC are like Davis is my safety. “UCLA/UCB is what I’m really shooting for”

thanks to your heads up of the rejection because I think I would have cried my eyes out if I checked it first before coming here.
Sometimes, I hate talking to those people ^ because most of them are super snobby.

@bookworm good thing there are always plan B’s in life or else we are all screwed. Btw see you in Davis in two years lol because I’ll be there for sure.

@ jojoyo yup! i’ll see you there too. i dont even want to go to UCLA or UCB or UCSD i actually really WANT to go to Davis, so that’s where i’m transferring to for sure.

yeah… when i checked here there wasn’t anything so i was like laaadidahh ill check myadmissions sees something different reads activate eyeball waterfalls it totally caught me off guard. so i got on here and posted it to let you guys know. it was all bad =/

It’s alright! At least we still get to go to school while some others out there might not have the same opportunity. You guys are kind of making me considering canceling my CSUs admission and go with TAG because I REALLY WANT TO LEAVE (to UCD).

Yeah like my parents are like transfer to UCB/UCLA because it’s more prestigious, but I don’t like those schools. I would rather go to Davis because it is a true college town experience and it has it’s own airport (for small airplanes), own bus system run by students, and mega large gigantic bike system( largest in the country apparently!) I mean beat that UCLA/UCB!

yeah community colleges get transfer priority that’s why i denied SFSU. and yeah i can actually see myself really enjoying the school because of the school, not prestige, even though Davis is moving up in the ranks

It’s like within reach to UCSD. Only like 4 schools up. I’m pretty sure UCD will beat or get on the same level as UCSD.

I know you guys would think “it’s your decision, not ours” when I ask if I should go to CC or CSU but can you give me your recommendation in my situation?

Well… What’s your situation? Btw my plan B’s are always awesome.

haha yeah it really makes me want to say your decision. but honestly i would say if your thinking of the college experience, go with state. but if your looking more ahead and towards Davis, community would offer a greater chance for you to get in. i’d say get goin on the internet research mode for admission transfer rates from community vs. state and yeah talk to your college counselor at school or something, thats what i’m doing.

If it’s between CSU and CC then it’s no question or comparison. I’ll go with CC. Sure you lose the two year of real college life, but you are more free and you get to go to the college of your dreams. Just my opinion though.

I either go to SDSU or CC then transfer. I really don’t want to go to CC (there isn’t much to do regarding extracurricular & I would be missing the first 2 years of the experience) and go through the app process all over again. I have accepted, signed up for SDSU orientation already but then again I want the away from home stuff while I’m still young. Any recommendation/suggestion?

This was said earlier and I didn’t want to retype up my situation again, hahaha. Oh and SDSU doesn’t have the extra activities that I like.

Yay! 30 page milestone guys!

I mean if SDSU doesn’t have your fav extracurriculars then CC is probably better for you. Since you can ultimately go to UCD.

I know this is looking out a little too far, but where do you guys plan to go to for grad school?

I’m not sure I want to spend only half of the 4 years in a university, though. It seems so much fun to miss out. Our counselor is pretty useless so I guess I need to figure this out, quickly.
I heard it’s ridiculously hard to get in a UC for grad. I’m not really fully informed of which school is best for my intended MBA, so a shrug for now.

Man, I come on here and notice the rejection wave. That’s so lame, making us wait a week. Oh well, I can either appeal, or just go to SLO. Boooooooooooo

^we can still appeal now?

but i think i’ll still stick with UCSC, w/e done w/ all this waiting.
