Any update on UC’s moving to June 1? I am expecting to hear this any day now. The World Wide Wait will continue! 
Calpoly Pomona sent the extended SIR of June 1 email. Expecting the same from UCs.
If the results you are hoping for do not come to fruition, you might consider the list of schools still accepting applications for fall of 2024. There are some really good schools. You can find that list here:

I very much feel for you and know exactly how you feel. Did not expect the whole getting into UC’s to be so difficult. I pray for you and for all of us in this boat that our kids get in!

It’s rough. I remember my twins (S24’s) submitting all their oos applications, and thinking to myself that I hope that it was all for practice, and that the truly important app was the UC application. Alas, one UC acceptance for each , but neither excited by that campus. Waitlists galore. I suppose that my wife and I were lulled into thinking it would go smoothly since it did for our S22. Now we wait and hope that we come off some WL’s so that we don’t end up paying egregious oos tuition. It blows, but no other option than to wait and see how it plays out. It helps to remember though that it’s a very first-world problem.

Apparently UCM might have a waitlist now I heard from some people they got waitlist at UCm for fall 2024.

Interesting since the UC Counselor Waitlist information date 3/7/24 states “all campuses, except UC Merced, plan to use a waitlist process for First year/Freshman applicants to mange their enrollments.”
one data point, we keep getting emails from UCM even though our son didn’t apply and they extended SIR to Jun 1 - see image

Since UCM is still reaching out and extending their SIR date, perhaps if any student is actually waitlisted, it might be major specific due to capacity limits?

Hello! Thank you all for checking in. I haven’t been on the forum lately, just saw these messages.
So, first she got into UCSB and was so excited. Then UCSD, but definitely chose SB over SD.
Yesterday, she was accepted to UCLA! She feels so…. validated. But is faced with a big decison. We will go visit UCLA next week to see the campus again and feel the vibes.
I honestly don’t know which one she will choose. I will keep you posted!
