I don’t think there is a true answer for you, but I *think they try to get it done by the 15th…don’t know if anyone’s gotten off after that…but if they did, I’m guessing it’s rare. Best of luck to you!

I can see that many were on this thread were accepted after deferral. I’m wondering what your stats are? Since some with outstanding stats are still on waitlist. My daughter is currently a junior who has her heart set on University of South Carolina

Has anyone heard back? My daughter called admissions this morning they told her they might have a response before June 1st. :unamused:

Where the deadline for extensions passed yesterday I’m guessing they are going over all the number to see where they are at. Some kids may have committed and still have another school on their list that they have until June 1st to decide on.

We have a deposit to a university here in NY, she graduates June 1st and if we don’t have an answer by then I’ll lose that deposit in NY if she doesn’t go… this sure does test your patience.

After an appeal of her rejection, my dtr just got in! She is through the moon excited!

Congratulations. I have read your posts through this process and know how much she wanted USC or Clemson. Great news for your family. My son can’t wait to head south!!
