have you heard anything yet?

good then k

The chirping of the crickets

i havent either altho im positive ill be rejected.

crichessil…if UVA doesn’t work out for you…where are you going to school?

Waitlisted people won’t hear anything until at least after the 15th. That’s the deadline for all transfers accept their offer and to submit their deposits. Considering last year’s 63% acceptance rate, I believe there will be more than a few slots open.

I thought I saw something about sometime in June for first years…

Good luck!

i am going to vtech…

ya i was just wondering since other schools like washington st.louis and cornell have already informed

There definetely was not a 63% acceptance off the waitlist last year. The waitlist at UVA alone is large enough to fill the entire class.

it was more like 2% i believe.

BJ, I was referring to the transfer offers acceptance rate of 63% for CAS… 398 acceptances/629 offers=63%. http://www.web.virginia.edu/iaas/data_catalog/institutional/data_digest/adm_transfer.htm

That means, if they needed to fill slots off the waitlist, there’s probably room.

The transfer acceptance rate IS NOT 63%…it is 39%! The yield is 63%

Go back and reread the thread! I never said the transfer acceptance rate off the waitlist was 63%! That was BJ’s assumption, and your mistake following his assumption! I was talking about student acceptances (or yield) of the offers made, which is the “transfer offers accepted and yield rate!”

(exclaimations for effect!;))

A bit argumentative aren’t ya! I guess that’s what happens when you get your start at WM!!!;)

haha…sorry then…what do you mean by “start at WM”…lol

I never really liked wmrocks
