Correct. If I’m reading reddit correctly, though, it was 3/26 (Saturday!?!) two years ago?

So, 3/15 feels a little early, but possible. 3/22 feels more likely, but maybe still too early?

Hi all,
Have any/all/some received communication or email from Wake admissions over the past months? I ask because things have been very quiet here, and just wondered if that was normal.

yeah, so I applied ED and got deferred. recently heard back that I am a finalist for a scholarship. so in total I’ve heard from them twice, but they are pretty quiet. best of luck with admissions!

Does anybody know if Wake announces ahead of time when the decision day will be? Or do they just spring it on you?

For their ED decisions, based upon the chatter in those strings, it didn’t look like there was any forewarning.

My son is trying to open his WF portal and it won’t let him get past something that asks for a video??? He’s trying on both his computer and his phone. I don’t have that request on my computer. Any idea what this could be?

ETA: This also happens to me when I try to open it on my phone.

Our neighbors son told us he used the inspect function and searched for “waitlist” and found that term in his portal. They think it means he will be placed on the waitlist. Not sure how that all works, but passing it along.

That happened to us as well. You have to go back to the link sent to you in the original email right after you applied. This will take you into the portal and bypass the “video” thing.

Oftentimes they load up everything an applicant might need (including the waitlist option) and update it just before releasing decision. It doesn’t necessarily mean he is waitlisted.
