Want to Buy New Sedan with Tan/Beige or Light Grey Interior

HImom, is the carport clean yet?

It’s a process. It has been very cluttered for our kids’ lifetimes, so I suspect it will take some time to declutter. H was making some headway BEFORE we started the holidays & the kids came home. Am not holding my breath, as he will get to it when he is able. Time will tell.

My husband’s Infiniti sedan has both a light exterior and interior, including the carpeting and mats.

S is trying to convince H to buy a new Volvo and go to Sweden to pick it up. Volvo will pay for a round-trip for two, as well as a week of insurance (for us to drive in Sweden) and then pay to ship car back to our home in HI. The car would be customized and made to order! H isn’t thrilled, but we both smiled and nodded when S talked about it. H still has to clean out the carport, so it is not something that will happen in the near future.

HImom…as I recall, you had very good luck with some Volvo…at some point. Didn’t you want to…or actually ship one to one of your kids?

I’m curious why this isn’t a good choice now when it apparently was at some point.

Plus…gotta say from my drivers seat. The S60 is a great car…great. We still have our s70 with 230,000 miles on it.

We did have several Volvos. My Volvo mechanic isn’t sure what China buying Volvo will do for availability of parts and other servicing issues. If it doesn’t disrupt anything, Volvos are OK, but VERY expensive for servicing–only one guy around I trust and his bills tend to always be 4 figures rather than 2-3 figures for our other vehicles. That is my major disincentive for getting another Volvo.
