Just looked and they are all booked for virtual interviews
WashU has two kinds of interviews: Alumni admission interviews that are offered to some students, and interviews with current students that the applicant signs up for(and fill up quickly). You cannot do both. Mine decided to wait for the possibility of an alum interviewe for RD last year. She got one and the person was from another state so it was virtual. She found it helpful and fun! The alums submit a writeup, but it is likely not a large part of admission, similar to other schools that do them.

My D24 applied several days before the RD deadline. She hasnāt received any alum interview invitation yet. When did your daughter apply that secured an interview? Have they wrapped up the interview process yet? or has anyone been contacted by an alumnus/alumna recently for an interview?

My S24 applied RD at the deadline, also holding out for alumni interview, no word yet.

She applied sometime early Dec 2022 if I recall correctly, and got the interview request in mid January 2023

My student was an ED1 applicant, recently admitted, sat for a student led interview that was signed up for in August and held in October.
I was under the impression that all interviews slots are booked already
Any data on how many applications they receive for ed2 and acceptance compared to ed1 ?
Anyone hear back about the Danforth scholarship yet?
all that was shared thus far is that 747 were admitted ED1 then another 100 through Questbridge
they said ED1 acceptance rate was the usual 26%

We havenāt gotten mid year gradesā¦they come out Monday and we were planning on sending then. Should we just report 1st quarter grades? Do they require an official transcript from the guidance counselor or can we self report?

is this for an admitted student or one applying ED2/RD?
Reports should come directly from the school vs self reported but it is beneficial to email your assigned Admissions Services Coordinator with questions as this is what they are there for and extremely responsive.
Itās for someone who applied ED2. I called admissions, and they said to have the counselor email or upload them to the common app.

For those who were in the ED1 round: what time of day did the decisions come out? Iām trying to manage expectations for ED2 that come out this Thursday!

It was a Friday and they wanted to get decisions out prior to sundown.
how do we know results are out on thursday?
They send an email saying washu pathway has an update.
