Congrats to everyone that got in! If you got in RD im pretty sure they offer you a free flight to visit the school (if I remember correctly). Would highly recommended it, helped me solidify my decision on choosing washu.
Also congratulations to everyone who got in!!! If you guys have literally any questions at all, feel free to ask (tag me @ or message me). I’m a freshman in the College of Arts and Sciences, tour guide, and student host and love answering all the questions you guys have!!!
To those who are disappointed with their decision, remember that acceptances have barely started to come out, and your college experience will be what you make of it. Wishing you the best of luck for the rest of the notification season.
Waitlisted.
Accepted! But is it weird that I never got an email?
Waitlisted lol
My DC got into engineering. Extremely happy!
Waitlisted as well. This is such a confidence killer for all my other decisions that are coming out later this month.
Waitlisted.

Rejected so sad hahaha
Oops - My UPS just updated, my accepted daughter is receiving a package on UPS. Admit = package must be true.
I just fear that I am going to get rejected by all my top choices
Accepted so Glad
waitlisted
@HSsenior1997 Don’t worry; a lot of people were wait listed, even in previous years. Not sure if this matters or means anything, but a lot of those who were accepted to Stanford and applied to WashU in the 2017-2019 result threads were wait listed (I only said Stanford because that’s the only school that I cared to look at so far).
@Wskimo and anyone who got deferred or rejected read @srivapau comments. don’t let college admissions define your success. College is what you make of it. There are so many factors that come into play in college admissions that have nothing to do with how good you are or how well you will do in college or life. I am pretty sure that demonstrated interest had a huge factor in S getting in. In December he was so upset about getting deferred from what he thought was his first choice and now 3 mos. later he is not even sure that school is his first choice anymore. Love the school that loves you back!
@blessupman You mean that waitlist at WashU is a strong predictor of acceptance at Stanford?
Accepted!! So happy!
by the way for those nay sayers who think applying FA means you have a harder time getting into Wash Univ its not true. Also anyone reading this thread next year def. apply for scholarships. it helps in showing more demonstrated interest in a school that doesnt have supplements even if you are not in the running for scholarships.
Did anyone else get the free flight out. It was not clear fom reading the acceptance email. you had to push “next step” and than it said free flight was being offered.
