Waste of time?

<p>My friend was considering doing this and I do not know what to think of it. Is this a waste of time?</p>

<p>My friend was rejected into one of their dream schools, and now they having additional teachers write letters of recommendations, and they are also writing an essay and a letter as to how much they admire the school and why they should be reconsidered. The school that they are sending this too is a top tier school, and I am curious as to how the office of admissions will respond to this. What are your thoughts? Is this a waste of time?</p>

<p>If there is a waitlist at said school, this is a waste of time; just my two cents…</p>

<p>It’s worth a try if they really like the school, but it’s unlikely that they will be accepted. If your friend got rejected, it may be a hint that she is not qualified to attend there.</p>

<p>I agree with rodney, if they didn’t make the waitlist, then they probably have no real shot at being admitted.</p>
