Too bad he didn’t hold onto the grilled cheese and sell it on ebay, could’ve made a bundle.

Yes, the show was redeemed last night!

I agree that when Lea Michelle sings Streisand songs (Don’t Rain on My Parade was another) she uses all of Streisand’s phrasing and vocal tics, and it grates–just makes me wish I were hearing Streisand instead. She’s a fine singer and needs to be herself. I actually thought it would have been more appropriate for Kurt to sing Papa Can You Hear Me–and I think he has the range to do it!

Mike Chang is singing next episode. You have no idea how excited I am.

Definitely way better than the past couple of episodes, and I loved hearing Kurt and Mercedes sing again! Also, anyone else think that R.E.M. suited Finn the best of all the songs he’s really ever sung? He sounded so close to the original, it was crazy.

What Yuck factor are you talking about? Please explain it to me.

The target audience for Glee is the 18-49 age group.

I have never felt uncorfortable at any time with any of the jokes on Glee. Many times the insinuations hit me after the fact when I realized what was said.

I just watched the Britney/Brittany episode on Hulu. Loved it!

Dear Grilled Cheesus, Thank you for making this weeks Glee so awesome!

I had to pause the tv and gather myself after Kurt sang “I want to hold your hand.”

Yes, I was blown away with Kurt’s rendition. Never had considered it in that way before. Never will hear it the same way again.

Just rent the DVD “across the Universe”. The show took its version of “I want To Hold Your Hand”.

Jane Lynch was great last night on SNL - anyone else watch? I loved the Glee sketch! Kenan as Mercedes cracked me up!

But I hated when they brought in Gilly because I really really hate Gilly.

Gilly is why I no longer watch SNL. I don’t find her funny at all.

Loved Across the Universe. What episode does I Want to Hold Your Hand?

Also, loved Yentl. What episode does songs from that movie?

I can see episodes of Glee on Hulu, I think.

Montegut, both “I want to hold your hand” and “Papa, can you hear me?” were in the most recent episode that I believe was called “Grilled Cheesus”.

In Across the Universe, I want to hold your hand is near the beginning of the movie sung by a very talented asian actress. In Yentl, Barbra sang Papa can you hear me when she was alone at night in the forest after her father had died and she had run away to experience life as a man.

Yes, both songs were in last week’s “Grilled Cheesus” episode.

Funny… D’s show choir did River Deep, Mountain High one year.

tonight…

Shuster: What’s a duet?
Brittany: A bedspread?

gotta love Brittany

I felt that TONIGHT was really the one that redeemed the show. Last week’s did nothing for me (with the exception of Papa, Can You Hear Me) and if tonight didn’t go better I was strongly considering not watching anymore…but after tonight I am very much a huge fan again! I felt like this was much more like the first season…cheesy and comedic. Exactly what I expect out of glee.
