Watch "Glee"

Liked the Coach Beast part…
Liked Finn’s message to Santana that someone cares…
Liked the girls supporting Santana…
Liked that Finn called on Rachel to do the right thing…and she did…
Sad about Santana’s grandma…but no doubt others have faced this…
Liked that Puck seems to be growing up…
Liked Blaine & Curt singing…

Overall, one of their better shows…and good music…

I missed last weeks - Was last night the first introduction to Santana’s abuela? She seemed so mean and harsh. More set up would have been helpful.

I actually really liked the episode. It would have been unrealistic for everyone in Santana’s life to readily accept this so I wasn’t surprised her grandmother did not. I loved Finn’s rendition of ‘Girl’s Just Want to Have Fun’ sung to Santana! It was sweet, meaningful, emotional, and gentle. There will be detractors, I’m sure, but I really enjoyed the music and the storyline. Well done Glee!!

I also loved that version of “Girls Just Want to Have Fun”. Beautiful.

I wished they stayed away from the inappropriate teacher/student relationship. We did see that coming though.

I also loved “Girls Just Want to Have Fun.” Very surprising, beautiful and emotional.

I hope Coach Beist gets her man.

Almost all good…but the high school teacher /high school student thing was just WRONG!!! Icky, icky, icky…so yes we know he is 18 (I remember them saying that just so we would all not be calling child protective services), but with what is in the news today, that was one of those story lines that should have been re-thought.
Anywhere but TV land, she is so fired.

Not saying the HS teacher/HS student thing is o.k. by any stretch, but…does reflect real life. In our high schools, both H & I knew of a teacher/student relationship. In H’s school, they actually ended up getting married–and were still at the 25th reunion. Lots of raging hormones at that age, and many young teachers not that much older than students. Gotta believe it still happens…
(Granted, our exposure to this was many moons ago…and in light of recent events, should have been deleted… and as a parent now, yes—ick, ick, ick)

She will be fired. The glee clubs will rejoin just in time for… Of course.

I LOVED this episode. The scene with Santana and her abuela was just heartbreakingly beautiful, IMO. I think they did a fantastic job of creating a very realistic picture of what kids face…

And the music was fantastic. One thing is, I hope they use Damian McGinty more very soon…

Yea Damian has been wallpaper the last few shows. Love to hear him sing, but maybe he needs more time to ripen as an actor? Is Brittany a senior? Wonder if the plan is for her to fail and stay at McKinley one more year? Beast is becoming a favored character for me. I was surprised and delighted to hear her sing Jolene.

I don’t think Damian can act at all, so I’m kind of happy to see him being wallpaper for some of his seven episodes. Nothing against him, but I’d rather see Blaine get character development or Tina get a song (look up Jenna Ushkowitz singing on youtube because she has a gorgeous voice and is criminally underused).

I think Brittany is a senior but Ryan Murphy keeps talking about hos easily she could fail and be held back.

Santana’s voice is so beautiful on the last song she sang about cravings.

Looking forward to seeing the other winner from the Glee project introduced. I predict that Shelby will be fired, Puck will graduate or quit and they will be together…Rachel wont make it into Nyadia (sp?) but Kurt will. This is going to be interesting!

Highly inappropriate for high school!! They did a very nice version of “Red Solo Cup” but I don’t think HS kids should be singing a song in school that glorifies the party beer cup.

I liked this episode quite a bit, despite the corny cheery resolutions, the inappropriate alcohol present, the inaccuracies about college and apps.

I think it was because I enjoyed the performance numbers so much! The acting was actually pretty good in this episode, too.

Was the girl who sang the song from Evita from the Glee Project? She looked familiar.

I thought the father coming around so suddenly was unrealistic. And DS said, “What? What? How did she submit his app? How did she get his social security number, etc.?”

Also, of course, Quinn suddenly deciding on Yale and having a total turnaround was also unrealistic.

Who ever said Glee was about realism?? Although, there have been some of the most “real” scenes about such things as bullying and coming out to family members that I have ever seen on TV…or any where, for that matter. I am a corny person and I loved the resolutions. The college application thing was funny, though. And that Quinn could just “decide” to go to Yale…

Have not yet watched last night’s episode…maybe this evening.
Does anyone else think they have WAY overdone the gay issue? Very tired of this relentless story line.
