Did anyone notice that Will didn’t ask Sue who the father of her baby was? It was Quinn’s first question and I thought for sure it would be Will’s. Possible he and Emma agreed to the donation after Sue’s speech to him last week?

ETA: lamom, my DH owns a body shop and I have seen a T-boned VW Beetle. My friend’s DD and her baby were in a similar accident although with another car and not a truck and both walked away without a scratch thank god due to the side airbag. My own DD drives a Beetle (she had it before this accident occurred) and both DH and I were relieved to see they hold up so well.

Me too. I occasionally tell my son that back in the dark ages, shows started in September and ended sometime in late spring and you could pretty much count on a new episode every week except the holidays. Now you see a couple of episodes and then three reruns from two months ago. Or they take such a long break that you can’t remember where you left off. And then they wonder why audiences aren’t loyal.

I watch on Hulu- I don’t have to keep track of when shows are on or their time has been rearranged.
Two shows that I watch ( Bones & 30Rock) the female leads recently gave birth ( not Tina Feys character however), so they had a long hiatus.
Downton fans just watched the " Christmas special", this past Sunday & I am *still *waiting for the third season of Doc Martin to be aired in the states.

I follow relatively few shows ( about 5 or 6), so I would like more episodes of the ones I do watch, but I am picky, so I guess I would rather have fewer better written shows than just crank them out. ( hopefully the third season of Downton will be better than the 2nd)

I haven’t watched all of the last Glee episode, it was getting a bit much with so many things going on.( & it is a sunny day!) I did find out spoilers for the next episode though.;)

Will someone take mercy on me and send me a quick PM of what happened last night? I missed it and forgot to DVR it! No Glee friends in real life. I need to know!!!

Hearsay only, but posting SPOILER ALERT just in case –

My 13 y/o is a rabid Glee fan and was in a real state last night after the show ended. She searched for plot tidbits online and is under the impression that Quinn will be back, though obviously injured. She said Blaine’s younger brother will be joining the show, and that he is “dreamy.”

We felt the plot involving Karofsky was somewhat expected, but very touching nonetheless. Hope his character remains part of the show. Getting a bit tired of Kurt, though - from his sense of entitlement in the school election storyline, to last night basically telling Quinn that HE corners the market on suffering, it’s getting sort of tiresome.

What drove me crazy about last night’s episode was that nobody told Kurt that it’s not his fault and he has no obligation to answer his phone to a guy that was stalking him and ignoring his relationship status a week before and no obligation to him now. Somebody needed to tell Karofsky to seek professional help – Kurt doesn’t need to become his “friend”/therapist.

lspf to respond to your post – more spoiler alert --

I’m pretty sure Blaine’s brother is older, since the actor is Matt Bomer, who’s ten years older than Darren.

And to think hubby and ds are going on a college trip next Tuesday and we were going to have girl night without complaints from the fellas. Guess we’ll just have to watch Dance Moms.

I think the point Kurt was trying to make when he made it clear that he felt Quinn’s pregnancy wasn’t as tough as being gay, is that Quinn’s pregnancy, and many other teen problems, are the result of decisions they made. Being gay is WHO you are. Not a decision. And gay teens (and adults) are bullied, made fun of, disregarded, reviled, etc. every day. Because of WHO THEY ARE! And who they will always BE! Not the same thing at all.

Perfectly said, nydancemom.
And Karofsky broke my heart when he talked about his mother’s rejection of him.
Incidentally, an acquaintance of mine recently committed suicide. He was a big supporter of The Trevor Project. He helped save others but couldn’t save himself.
Whether your kids are gay, straight, trans,bi; never pass up the opportunity to tell them you love them. Unconditionally.

nydancemom - I know what he meant, but even as a general statement I don’t agree with it. No one character should be the spokesperson for which of life’s difficulties are the worst, because every situation is different for every child, no matter what the issue. I agree with the general message, but think its becoming almost too much the Kurt (and Rachel) show.

and eireann - I also wondered the same with Karofsky. I think for so many kids, even asking for help in the first place can be extremely difficult.

I haven’t been watching this season - can someone update me on the winner of the contest to be on Glee? How has this character been integrated into the show? Has it just been a walk on part, or more?

There were two winners - the one Irish kid, Damian has been on since early in the season as a foreign exchange student. Sadly, he has an amazing voice, but definitely seems out of place on the set. He is getting a little better, but I’ll be surprised if he stays on for next season.

The other one, Samuel? Just showed up two weeks ago as a christian kid in a christian club, not glee club - with the dreads and tattooes. He’s actually quite good and seems to fit. He’s been acting and singing and seems very comfortable.

There is still one more contestant to make an appearance - Alex.

Lyndsey has already had her two episodes and she was really good, but she wasn’t really speaking, she had two performance numbers that were very good.

I just watched the episode last night. At regionals, during the girls’ first number, were there extra girls? I didn’t stop the DVR to count, but it seems like there was an African American girl with long straight hair, maybe bangs.

Given how much I used to adore Lea Michelle, I am surprised at how sick I am of Finn and Rachel.
