We are all living in a Computer Simulation!

This is a pretty interesting article saying that it is possible our lives are just a simulation within a supercomputer from the future.

He must have taken the red pill.

Far out. I’ve thought about that notion before. Since I was like ten, actually. It just depresses me, so I stopped. Now I’m sad again.

someones been drinking a little too much crazy juice.

Wow… that’s kind of interesting…

That guy “running the supercomputer?”

Yah, we have a name for him: God.

^^ hahahahah

That’s a bit…depressing…

Lol…That would be so cool…

Personally, I’m not sure it matters – what would be the practical difference between a God and a guy simulating us on The Sims 5000?

its the matrix

hahaha looks like someone drank one too many alcoholic beverages :P

■■■■■. i bet that person also believes the moon landing is a conspiracy and al gore invented the internet.

Al Gore did invent the internet, and the internet caused global warming through all of the computers heating up from so much use and he planned it all along so he could get an oscar.greedy ■■■■■■■

Meh, I thought it was the “awesomest idea ever” 2 years ago.

It’s not much different from agnosticism anyhow :p

well that was funky
wth is he on???

Neo: Hello?
Morpheus: Hello, Neo. Do you know who this is?
Neo: Morpheus?
Morpheus: Yes. I’ve been looking for you, Neo. I don’t know if you’re ready to see what I want to show you, but unfortunately, you and I have run out of time. They’re coming for you, Neo, and I don’t know what they’re going to do.
Neo: Who’s coming for me?
Morpheus: Stand up and see for yourself.
Neo: What, right now?
Morpheus: Yes, now.

I’m the one.

I’m NEO.

Lol…

Do you know how depressing that would be? To have some alien click “delete” on you and you just are done?

%@#$%$@#%#%

Im not reading the rest of that article it pushes me over the edge

haha this is funny because especially when I was younger I always used to wonder if that was possible
that or if we were just a microcosm of a larger universe. like maybe we are to some other species as bugs are to us. and that is what natural disasters are. like it must feel like a natural disaster to bugs when we go trying to kill them. maybe bugs have their own society.
lol this is all very hard to explain

well in the end its just as probable as the fact that only one true mind exists and that is yourself and everything else is just a universe made for you - Descartes “I am because I am”. The theory is not provable and not disprovable to thus technically it has no basis in usefulness or truth.
