Monday night but feels like Sunday night - as in, mentally trying to gear up for a work week. Not feeling it yet.

I’ll start:
I took an extra day off (Tues) to make it a longer weekend, so I’m looking forward to tomorrow. Looking forward to some good weather, finally. And I’m looking forward to my book club zoom on Thursday, though I haven’t yet started the book!
I’m having a SD “walk” tomorrow with a very good friend who is disabled and hasn’t been able to get out much . Really looking forward to seeing her.
My S is going to come by for an SD visit Wednesday after work.
Saw GD (and her parents) today and hope to again a few times this week.
Got a pickup slot at ShopRite this week–really hard to come by–it’s the little things that matter, lol!
So, I feel blessed this week.
It’s going to be sunny and hot.
And I searched our bookshelves and found several books I’ve never read. So I’m good for awhile.
I’m excited for D that she and 3 friends will be at a beach house for 2 days. I believe they’ve all been SD and very careful. She’s known these friends for many years.
We are having our 34th anniversary this year at the end of this month—not quite sure what we’ll be doing for it but D says she should be back to join us and S is with us too. Hmmm maybe a special takeout at a place we love.
My D16 is virtually graduating this Thursday! I’m excited for her, but it is a little bittersweet. The college hopes to have an in-person ceremony when it is safe.
Not much going on this week (work as usual, maybe an SD ice cream with a friend), but next week should be much more interesting. DD will be starting her summer classes (online) and has a dentist appointment. I will probably go in to the office for two days, and I hope to get a hair appointment too. Oh, and our library is opening for curbside pickup!
Giving my old bike (newly repaired, then figured out I couldn’t swing my leg over it any more without losing my balance—hadn’t ridden it in 3 years) to DIL, S1 is getting S2’s fat tire bike because he says he has never liked it. For 3 years. Win-win!
3 day work week - I took Tuesday off! Mr. Sabaray did not - house to myself!

Going back to the office for the first time Wednesday (both exciting and a bit scary).

Nothing has changed here until June 4 at the earliest so my usual work and food shop routines will continue.
Looking forward to nicer weather AND getting our AC fixed. It’s pretty hot upstairs tonight
Last week with both sons home, so more hiking, chatting, cooking, baking, and watching action movies.
DH and I are driving a couple of hours south to help our DD move into her new apt on Wednesday. She is moving from the deep south for a job, and I’m deliriously happy to have her so close to home!

So good to see many taking Tuesday off, I am doing the same thing. Work has been nuts lately. I don’t mind the work, but the people managing part of the job really wearing me out. I really needed this long weekend
Nothing else planned, just happy for the short work week and hope to have nice weather this weekend.
