Total progress since 7/5: -7

Exercise: commuter biking. 4 mile brisk walks last week on vacation. Got Les Mills On Demand and have been doing 55 minute Bodypump, which I LOVE.
Emotional: feeling great! Eating is super in control, but I have indulged in so many summer treats that I love, so I don’t feel deprived at all. I am really enjoying my exercise options so I am much more likely to do it!
First time poster in this group. I started a Weight Watchers at Work program in June. Since then I have lost 11 pounds. I am down a total of 27 since my most recent peak four years ago. (About 45 pounds down from my all time high). My “target” for WW is still about 30 pounds away, but I would be thrilled to lose another 15 - 20. Go to the gym twice per week. I do 45 min cardio and about 45 min strength training. Then when time allows walk 45 min another once or twice per week.

How is everyone doing? I’m out of town on my normal weekly weigh-in day so can’t report until Friday. Know I am probably getting lots of extra sodium and fat with all the restaurant meals but making the best choices I can and getting in a workout first thing each day to help mitigate any damage. I wish more restaurants had nutritional information available!
^^^Try to dissect the menu choices yourself before ordering. Sub in extra vegetables for potatoes/rice/rolls. Order a vinegar based dressing over creamy. If it’s a dish that’s loaded with cheese - well, you know that!
You may not detect the salt content or something like that - but you should be able to determine most ingredients used - at least the main ones - and decide if it’s a good choice.
We are just back from vacation and oh my is it hard to track when you are away from your normal routine! We had a condo so we did a lot of grilling and cooking on our own and were lucky to have lots of fresh and local ingredients.
Even so, I was afraid to get on the scale. I finally succumbed and yay! I’m down 2 more pounds! I’m only 3 pounds from goal!
I have completely stalled out with 3 weeks to my goal of 15 loss at -6.
Determined to get back on it today. It is possible I could drop another 6 and I know
that I would feel better. Onward!!! Mainly I have let calorie counting slip.
The only silver lining is that I have kept off the first 5 and just play with the last one.
\Congrats! 3g3c!
@3girls3cats, well done!
I was out of town for 6 days at a wedding and a camping trip after the wedding. The wedding had delicious bread and so so food. I received a couple of compliments on how good I looked. I guess the 10 lb weight loss is showing. Did some hiking on the camping portion of our trip. I missed my strength class. Tomorrow I’ll get on the scale, head to my gym class and get back to cooking healthy meals.

Calories (avg): 1285 **
Exercise (avg): 295 ** (running)
** 7 day averages from MyNetDiary app. The app says I’m on track for 15 lb by Nov 4th goal. Interestingly it now lists calorie target (after exercise “credit”) as 1285 instead of 1194/previous. Well that is all going to go out the window after my Labor Day week vacation. I’ll try to eat somewhat reasonably and continue running, but I may not even attempt to log my food.

Goal: -33
Total progress since 7/5: -8

Exercise this week: avoiding the car, biking and walking whenever possible. 22 mile bike ride. One 55 min Bodypump. (Obviously I need to up that!)
Down 2 this week, good surprise given all the restaurant meals. The daily workouts may not have burned enough calories to make a big difference, but they kept my goal on my mind. Headed for ten days with elderly parents and hoping I can use the fitness center at their CCRC.
Goal: -30 lbs.
Loss: -14 since 6/8
Gained 1 lb over a 1-week vacation to see the eclipse. They feed you lots of meat and baked potatoes in Idaho and Wyoming, so I’m happy that a good amount of hiking kept me close to where I was before the trip. That’s the last vacation for awhile, so I’m back to focusing on logging calories and eating less.
Same ol Same ol— >:P
Down almost 10 lbs since this thread started.
.8 lb loss this week
Friday is my high calorie day. 1800 calories
I am 7 lbs from where I feel comfortable hovering around. I would prefer to get down another 17.
Goal -15
loss-7 Finally a dip.
No exercise for two days but loads of walking and heavy work.
I will probably go up and down but this gives me hope.

Leaving for 10 days vacation (including a bit of fried seafood) tomorrow night … hoping to not have too much weight creep-up.
I am reading a book about food obsessions and this sentence struck me:
To recover, you must mourn the loss of a simple cure.
184.4 today, a relief to have dropped a few more pounds as I was away for a week and a half moving my dad into memory care (and I am not the kind of person who forgets to eat in stressful times!). I missed my Peloton bike and have a lot of pent-up angst to ride off.
Interim goal is 170, but ultimate goal is 150. When I was 40 (regularly weight training and doing cardio), I was a size 6 at that weight. We’ll see how it all rearranges at age 56!
