Woo-hoo!! Congrats, SJTH!

Ok I have made a decison, I am goingt oread this everyday, to keep me motivated. i have been a little in the pits lately, so this will be step number one. i also went to the trainer today.

Well, I got a little off track this weekend so am doing a reset today. (No thanks to Ben & Jerry who invented a vanilla/blueberry greek frozen yogurt w/ graham.)

Congrats to SJTH!

Rats… SnowFlake, I am definitely going to look for that stuff now! And I thought I was safe here at home since we have no BerryLine to which I became addicted over the weekend!

So what is the trainer having you do, DTE?

Thanks for listening to me gloat–I literally have been stuck at a weight for 2 months! Back to cheerleading for you all!

I have been on a nf frozen yogurt thing myself lately. Delicious!

Congratulations to all the plateau busters! Sadly, I have fallen into the abyss. Youngest son’s graduation was last weekend. There was wining and dining out of town guests, awards banquets, Senior Dinner, Graduation Dinner, graduation parties and Memorial Day BBQ. We were out past 11pm 7 of 9 nights! I am horrified how much work was undone in that time frame. And how physically debilitaiting that way of life is. I have dropped 2 of the 6(!) pounds I gained by drinking only water and eating only grilled chicken breasts and spinach with balsamic. It is apparent to me now how things previously spiraled out of control when I didn’t aggressively undo the damage done on splurges like vacations.

I’m back to my pre-East Coast trip weight. Apparently, helping kiddo to move her belongings out of the dorm was a good exercise.

[Tasting Party](http://www.pier1.com/TopMenu/GetInspired/TastingParty/tabid/889/language/en-US/Default.aspx)

For those of you who like ice cream but could use some help with portion control, I use the mini-martini glasses on the right hand side when I eat ice cream. The size of the glass fits about 100 calories of ice cream.

It’s more than a taste, but much less than a pig out.

laketime–exactly. Probably everyone gains a few pounds during the holidays, a cruise, or what have you. The trouble is in abstaining for a while when you get back. Some people just buy bigger clothes. :(

I was out there pulling weeds all morning, reclaiming a flower bed. I think I deserve a nice (healthy) lunch. :)

ellenemope—when we have ice cream, which isn’t often, I give my college son a nice big scoop, while H and I just have small “tasting” portions.

I observe Pier I is trying to sell us a boatload of tiny dishes. Very clever of them!

Bought an eggplant today to try the Martha Stewart Eggplant/Basil dish mentioned earlier…

Let me know what you think, lmnop!

I jym’s eggplant tonight and second the recommendation, it was really delicious. It tasted much more complex than I expected.

Down 20.5 lb in 6 weeks of lo-carbing.
Last 2 weeks, the body composition measures show my water and muscle mass are UP slightly (due to adding a little exercise), so I have lost even more than 20.2 lb in FAT!
Rate of loss is declining, closing in on 1 pound per week, which makes sense as it is a percentage not absolute game.
Have much further to go, but I am always motivated by results, and inspired by you all on this thread!
Here’s to feeling better!!!

Wonderful news! Congrats performersmom!

Congrats, everyone!!! I’ve been at the upper cusp of my calorie allotment lately and the scales are in sync with it :(. I will have to get back do being more diligent. I am not eating bad stuff, just too much. Made a yummy baked salmon yesterday . Tonight though was popcorn at the movie theater. Saw the preview of the new Adam Sandler/Andy Sandburg movie, called “Thats My Boy”. Utterly stupid, tasteless and raunchy, but hilarious.

That is some serious weight loss!

Much, MUCH to my surprise, I got back down and lost an additional 1/2 lb! So have lost almost 60% of goal in 9 weeks.

jym … good work! I’m still paying for my B&J weekend. :(
