<p>For the top schools, IMHO:</p>
<p>GPA/Class Rank (academics) 40%
SAT (IQ) 40%
ECs 10%
Essay 10%</p>
<p>ECs and Essays are important IF you have High Rank and High SAT.</p>
<p>Of course, there is another factor for internationals: ability to pay full freight 25%.</p>
