Parent of an American student on waitlist but still have not heard anything.
I actually think they will take about the same students off the waitlist this year than before. The admission rate and number of admitted students are about the same, and Wellesley is rich enough to provide financial aid, so the enrollment rate will not drop greatly.
I am wondering if they have not taken already
Do you know how many were accepted from the waitlist in 2019?
Waitlist stats for 2018:
WL offered 1909 WL accepted 1245 admitted 36
2019:
WL offered 2061 accepted 1221 admitted 99

This was several years ago now, but when my D was contacted by Wellesley to be offered a place off the waitlist, it was in June. Good luck!

It seems that Wellesley started to accept waitlisted students on May 28. My friend also got in at that date.
