Are they going to announce decision date or just leave it at that frustrating, ambiguous “late March”?
I don’t think they’ll specify dates. But Late march normally means the second last Friday.
Is there any advance notice? Even a few days?
Are results out? I saw someone on the QB facebook group saying she got in.
My d got her acceptance today. She received an email that her application status had changed & to check the portal.
I got my acceptance today along with my financial aid letter!!! From what I’ve heard so far, only acceptances have been released.
Taken from the acceptance letter: “You are among the first group of students to be notified of your regular decision acceptance. Because we feel that you have so much to add and contribute to the Wesleyan community, we want you to begin now to plan to be at Wesleyan next fall!”
Does anyone know if it’s a regional thing? Or is it based on merit?
Any accepted student want to post some of their stats?
I live in Switzerland, and got the same letter– so guessing it’s merit!
@drowning2021 3.96UW, 34 ACT, mostly average ECs. I was not expecting to get in at all.
@drowning2021 3.92 GPA, 32 ACT, 720 Chem SAT, no sports, Key Club Statistical Secretary, NHS, nothing amazing/spectacular, 1st generation asian male - I’m literally in shock I got in at all - I’m so happy though !!!
I got accepted with great scholarship! here are my stats:
Background: Jamaican citizen and resident
SAT I: 1530 (780 math 750 english)
SAT II: 760 Chemistry 730 Math 2
EC: concertmaster of school orchestra, president of writers’ club, honour society, schools challenge quiz team
Other cool stuff: concertmaster of interlochen philharmonic , attended summer music school in switzerland, attended STEM summer program at WPI (Worcester Polytechnic Institute)
Hey, guys. According to a current Wesleyan student who intern at the admission office, RD decisions will be released on either March 25th or 26th.
@Jasonapp yeah that’s when I was expecting too, but in the letter it said I was “among the first group of students notified of RD acceptance”, and sounds like other people’s did too, so they’re releasing some early, idk why

I was wondering if anyone who hasn’t been notified can access their portal? Because when I try to login, it tells me that my email is invalid, even though I activated my account back in December. I tried doing the activation again and it’s telling me that my email is invalid.

I got notified of my acceptance yesterday! I’m surprised to be told so early, but I’m so excited!!
Congratulations! I think you guys just receive ealry write from Wesleyan because Wesleyan consider you their Top applicants. I am really happy for you guys, but a bit disappointed as well. My stats are great. 1560SAT, School Rank 1％, lots of EC and leadership. But I receive no infromation from any of the school I applied to and I was just rejected by UCSD (my safety). I am a bit anxious. Hope I will be accpeted by Wes and are able to meet you guys in fall.
