Wesleyan Class of 2021 Applicants Thread

@nac7890 It seems like you deserved the acceptance, Congratulations!

Got waitlisted.
32 act Super score
94 numeric weighted gpa
Lots of ecs and played varsity football for 2 years

That was the nicest rejection letter I’ve got yet (and I’ve had quite a few). I did not show any interest (visit campus, interview) and I think that Wes isn’t the best fit for me. So I’m very content with this decision. Congrats to those accepted!

I didn’t show any demonstrated interest so that’s why I probably got wAitlisted lol.

Accepted!
I’ve been accepted to UT, Grinnell, University of Richmond, Trinity College, Reed, and Rice Univ. so far. Waiting on Tufts.

Accepted to Wesleyan for Film.

Got accepted (finally). More relieved than anything after taking so many L’s this past week or so. Just waiting till next Thursday now

Accepted! 35 act 97 unweighted, no interview or demonstrated interest

Waitlist

Accepted!

Accepted but rejected any financial aid, making it so bitter sweet as I can’t afford it with my parents making less than 40k a year(international) :frowning:

Waitlist ._. How does that work if they have space for you after may 1 when you deposited to another school? ??

Arent you bound to go to the school you deposited to?

@gvalerie being accepted off a waitlist is the only exception–your deposit will be forfeited but you will be released from your commitment to that school.

I applied to 8 public schools in California and 12 out of state privates. Got accepted to all seven of the public (including UCLA) and waiting for UC Berkeley. For the privates, I gotten 1 rejection (Northwestern in Illinois), 2 acceptances (Grinnell & Middlebury) and FIVE WAITLISTS (williams, UCHICAGO, colby, swarthmore, and now Wesleyan). Idk what ima do. I have four ivies and UC Berkeley left.

Does anyone know if there’s a facebook group for admitted students?

@trish123456 WesAdmits 2021.

Admitted. 3.9 UW, 35 ACT

Accepted! 4.0 UW, 2280 SAT, visited and interviewed.

Accepted! 3.85/3.9 UW, 2270 SAT, managed to express negative interest in that I requested an alumni interview and then changed my mind, so I was really surprised to get in!
