Hey guys, am actually surprised, today I was contacted by an admissions officer, they wanted an explanation as to why I have been in a gap year, am actually surprised because my application is even incomplete, its missing TEOFEL, but am surprised also that some pipo have got their decision.
@NYUKIT wow that’s interesting! I am also an international taking a gap year. Though my materials are complete, wondering if they would contact me to. But I sent in a miscellaneous gap year essay tho.
Snow30, I think maybe due to the fact that you submitted that explanation essay, there maybe no need to contact you, did u Submit SATs? Or did you submit an English language test result?
@NYUKIT I didn’t submit any test scores neither did I submit a TOEFL score. It was waived for me cause I was in an English speaking school all my life. And my country’s, Nigeria’s first language is English, if it means anything…Did you submit any test scores and didn’t you take the toefl
Also, none of my schools required an English test score, they were all automatically waived so I didn’t take the TOEFL or IELTS
I didn’t, I guess since Uganda is English speaking they waived the requirement.
So when will all decisions be out?
