I promise this will brighten your day. As someone else observed, a company can spend millions on one SuperBowl spot that may or may not sell anything. OR, they could do THIS!

And the cool thing is every single person can do a small version of this…just spread the joy by doing some random act of kindness. It does not have to be so grand……but this is pretty awesome.

Personally, I make it a point to go to the “giving tree” at our local shopping mall and adopt several seniors. Often they just ask for a pot and pan or a blanket or a rice cooker. I prefer to adopt them over kids, since kids generally get so many people interested in helping them but SRs not so much. Just bought 5 really soft fuzzy blankets at Ross for some SRs on the giving tree and will be adopting several more SRs after I drop off this batch of blankets.

Saw this featured on NBC national news tonight. They singled out the guy who didn’t take it seriously and asked for underwear and socks and that’s what he got! :)

Should people have wanted to get as much as they could? Underwear and socks is a lovely gift, that many folks are grateful for. Personally, I’d prefer it over a large flatscreen TV that I don’t have space to accommodate. ;)

Personally, my fondest wish is for my loved ones to regain their health. This has been my wish for over a dozen years. I am hopeful it may be granted – getting closer. ;)
