Should I take regular World History before the AP class? Sophomores can take it, but they aren’t required to take the regular class before it. Will it make me more prepared, will it help me understand the material better? Is four SStud credits better than three? If I forego regular World History I can fit another AP class in junior year.
To me, it sounds like they’re not really meant to be taken consecutively at your school. APWH is the advanced class and WH is the standard class. I think it would be better to take two AP social studies classes that are different subjects rather than take two World History classes in a row.
